Put Us in the Zoo...

Way back here and here, we had a nice visit to the zoo.

It was one long fall and winter in our neck of the woods and Leighton started asking in early March when Daddy was gonna take him to the zoo.

To be precise, his exact word were, "Mommy....I really, really want to go to the zoo...but daddy won't take me to the zoo." (followed by a big pouty lower lip and a slight glisten in his eyes).

That was a daggar in his daddy's heart for the next few months of our snow filled existence.

Finally, daddy (and mommy) decided it was time to put this heart-wrenching little plea from Leighton to an end.

So, we took him and his little bro to the zoo.
