Weekly Womb #27

The Weekly Womb is here! I hadn't forgotten. I was just waiting until after my OB appointment this morning, in case there was anything to report. There wasn't. It was boring. In my opinion, boring is good when you are talking about pregnancy. I did however get to do the "orange pop test" and have my blood drawn. In case you have never been pregnant or hadnt' heard of this before: you drink this orange juicish, popish stuff and then have your blood taken an hour later to see if you have gestational diabetes. It's not all that bad of a drink actually. Anyway, they took my blood and I will find out on Monday, which I'm not worried about. Although maybe I should be with my ever increasing sugar intake these days.

So, in the baby development corner: I have a baby the size of a head of cauliflower this week. To me, cauliflower is boring so I don't have a whole lot to say about it. The baby is about 2lbs and 14 1/2 inches. What I did find quite adorable about my Babycenter Weekly Update was that the baby can now open and close his/her eyes and is possibly sucking his/her fingers. So, that's pretty cute.

And this, my friends, is the view of my belly through my eyes/lens. Don't I have a spectacular view? Derrick thinks it's quite funny that now I am all of the sudden using my ginormous belly as an arm rest. But...I'm sure if he had one these awesome shelves, he would do the same thing. Wouldn't you, honey?

Shannon you make me laugh! I was reading your post and the way the picture showed up looked like your knees were your boobs!!!!!!!! Hahahaha now that was awesome. I thought I was the only one with huge knockers...then I scrolled down to see it was your KNEES. Not the girls. Whoops. Happy weekend. And I agree a head of cauliflower is pretty boring :=)
