The Weekly Womb #25

Our little sprout is getting bigger! Now roughly a pound and a half, he or she, is starting to get some baby fat. Isn't that so exciting?! My baby is getting "baby fat"! I love the thought of that. Plus, hopefully, if my body is busy helping the baby make fat, maybe it will forget about making fat for my own body. Really, I don't need anymore of that......Another cool tidbit about this week in development is if you could look inside my womb, you would now be able to discern the color of baby's hair. That seems pretty fun. I wonder if we will have brown-haired baby, who eventually turns blond? Or will we have a blond baby who eventually turns brown? Or, will we have a baby with no hair at all? I can barely stand the suspense!

Thank you to those of you who have been praying about my contractions and the baby's health. Baby is doing great and is bouncing around my belly like a mad-man or woman. My contractions have leveled off a bit. I'm still having a lot of tightening, which I still attribute to Braxton-Hicks so that is good. The cramping/backpain has been a lot better. I've still had some bouts on and off but nothing that has been consistent enough to worry me. So, I will continue drinking a lot of fluids and water and resting when things start acting up.

That's all. It's kindof a boring post, I know. I have some more great pictures to post in the very near future so please stay tuned for that!

When your pregnant...'boring' is good! That means it's going well...I pray that it continues. :)
