Angel Baby

My dear friend, Amanda, asked me to photograph her precious newborn for them. I was quite honored that they would allow me to "practice" my on them. I have to admit, I was quite nervous on the way over to their house. I even had butterflies in my stomach! Was this the right time of day? Would the lighting be OK? Do I even know what kind of lighting is OK! Will the blinking light that had just showed up on my camera cause a problem? And many more questions and self-doubts ran through my mind. I really wanted to do a good job for them and more importantly capture some lasting memories of this precious angel baby.

I have to admit it was hard work! I was running all over their house checking lighting, adjusting my camera settings, pulling out sheets from their linen closet, and really just making a huge mess of their house. I'm sure they thought I had lost my mind......rolling around on their floor and standing on their furniture...it was quite a sight. I may have even looked somewhat like an actual photographer during the process. If I did, I sure had them fooled. I was just shooting and praying it was right. Here are a few of these beautiful memories below.

And of course, we CAN NOT forget about Princess Weezie! She was the first baby of the household, after all. Have a good week everyone.

Awesome pics Shannon! I especially like the one of the baby yawning in the basket, how precious!
