First of all....let me explain why Derrick is "pole dancing". We went to Dickinson this weekend to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa and celebrate a milestone event. Grandma Laurie had this adorable idea that we go to the firestation to take pictures of Leighton and Maverick in the little firetruck. There was a fireple and naturally Derrick decided to climb it.
Of course I had to give it whirl myself!

Here is where the "Fifty" comes in. Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Rodney celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with us in Dickinson this weekend. Count em people, 5-0! What a great accomplishment! Still young and in love even fifty years later...........
And here is my precious baby boy riding in his very first Firetruck!
