Wet turkey sandwhiches.

I'm reminiscing here a little.................. November 25, 2004. Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Derrick and I spend our first Thanksgiving together with Cassie and Gerardo on an amazing secluded beach.
Cassie and Gerardo had been to this beach before so they knew it was special. They knew Derrick had an agenda for this trip. We spent the day laying out on the beach, swimming in the teal, tropical waters and eating wet, turkey sandwhiches in honor of Turkey Day! It was magical.
Cassie and Gerardo told us that we needed to make a short jaunt up the hill to see the neat lighthouse with a pretty cool view. So, Derrick and I took our little hike to the top of the hill. Little did we know, we would be standing on a GIGANTIC cliff, next to a lighthouse, overlooking a spectacular sunset over the endless ocean. The pictures attached really do not do this memory justice! After spending about an hour in sheer amazement of the moment we were in, Derrick got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! Yes, yes, yes was my answer! What an amazing place to make such an amazing comittment! By the way, the 2nd picture, where you can see the little people standing on the cliff- that is where Derrick asked me! Pretty cool.
