We got Grandpa to pose with his awesome fish cake before we whisked it back into the house. With a purpose.
We had these two distract him with cuteness.
Chase was supposed to help them but he just did this instead.
Then we brought the cake back to the party.
And then we gave dad a piece of his fish cake.
He dug in. And made this face.
Followed by this face.
Probably because it was spiked with a little tuna. Compliments of his son and son-in-law.
Really though...what did you expect...it was a fish cake!
Everybody really laughed.
Heck...even dad himself laughed.
And then it was time for the grand finale of the birthday evening.
You know..just your regular, old birthday stuff here.
Nothing too out of the ordinary.
I mean really....who doesn't celebrate birthdays with mini hot air balloons these days?
